About PHFD Fire Department

The PHFD Fire Department is a profession department located on the North Shore of California. The Department hires 50 Firefighters and Fire Officers as well as 8 full time expert Fire Alarm Workers that staff the Fire Alarm Workplace.

It is the task of the PHFD Fire Department to deliver excellence fire protection and Emergency Medical Services to the people of the public through expert and capable fire defeat services as well as energetic public teaching and fire deterrence efforts.

The PHFD Fire Department is roughly 20 square miles of mixed commercial, residential, industrial and open land. There are about 60,000 residents living transversely on the city in roughly 16,000 housing units. The PHFD Fire Department responds to nearly 3,500 emergency calls each year fluctuating from construction fires to motorized car accidents and medical aids.

In addition to fire safety, our team is comprised of public servants in a variety of sectors. Some squad members hold their security license, while others have pursued fire science programs or other undergraduate work. Obtaining a Guard Card online is also a recommended option for those entering law enforcement in the state.
